Week 1(Design?)

The world has changed but the prominence of graphic designers hasn’t. Over the past millennium the world has embraced in the fact that technology is improving at rapid rates, what does this mean? It means graphic designers are now using new and improved Technology that affects how designs are now produced and  how their influenced in design as well as  style, art and society. That being said, the principles of visual art graphic designers use to communicate messages hasn’t change, the time era has. The term graphic design began to be widely used in the 1950s Following the Second World War. Following WWII traditional inspiring projects started to emerge such as attractive packaging, appealing advertising logos and an increase in the selling of magazines. This resulted in a higher demand for visual designs appealing to the consumer. Today a Graphic designer’s works from many aspects, from creating signage to creating informational icons, company logos, branding labels and way-finding systems.
